You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits, by contacting us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

These providers may store information outside British Columbia or Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
- Judges, mentors and program partners, who may review application materials for the programs you apply to.
- Authorities, where required or permitted by law.
Photos and media at events
Our events may be photographed or recorded. Images may appear on our Site, newsletters and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed or featured, please let an organizer know at the event or contact us, and we will make reasonable efforts to respect your request.
Young participants
Some programs, such as TiE Young Entrepreneurs, involve participants under 19, the age of majority in British Columbia. We collect personal information from young participants only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and only for the purposes of the program.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and then securely delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or withdraw consent. Contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by law, generally 30 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
